In a significant step towards reinforcing the nation's commitment to inclusivity and empowering all segments of society, Qatar's Ministry of Social Development and Family, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Qatar Tourism, has launched the inaugural "Purple Saturday" initiative. This annual event, set to take place on the last Saturday of July, aims to support and empower persons with disabilities by highlighting their rights and encouraging commercial and service establishments to provide a more inclusive and accessible environment.
