MSDF Launches 6th Encouragement Award for Best Productive Family
The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by the Family Empowerment Department, launched the sixth Encouragement Award for entrepreneurs of productive ventures, for the best productive family and the best product.
The award has been launched on MSDF’s social media platforms as part of its efforts to enhance the economic and social well-being of families.
Backed by the Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM), the ministry launches this award as a valuable opportunity to spur innovation and support productive families in building a lasting economic future that pays tribute to innovation and enhances societal development.
The key objective of this award is to encourage productive families to augment their productions, help them invest in their resources, and subsequently convert them into productive ventures capable of contributing to the nation's economic and social development, in addition to strengthening the productive families' roles in achieving sustainable development, said Director of the MSDF's Family Empowerment Department, Fatima Al Nuaimi.
For his part, Yousef Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of DAAM's Shared Services Department, said the fund significantly prioritizes support for these kinds of initiatives, affirming that the award represents a key motivator for productive families, helping them advance their products to reach competitive levels.
Overall, the award intends to encourage innovation and support creative ideas that afford novel solutions, in the quest for promoting entrepreneurship and catalyzing entrepreneurs to advance their skills, build a sustainable environment, support the domestic economy, supercharge ventures that contribute to diversifying economic resources, in addition to commending meritorious ventures and spotlighting successful models to serve as a quintessential example for others.
Accordingly, MSDF has called upon all entrepreneurs of productive ventures to register in this context, which will continue until Oct. 20, 2025, by visiting its website. It highlighted that those who wish to participate should review all conditions and provisions posted on the services portal by selecting 'Family Empowerment'.
The award plays a key catalyst for productive families to energize further efforts and innovation, seeking to enhance the societal transition from consumption to production, in addition to empowering families to navigate challenges and advance their products to reach competitive levels domestically and internationally, in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.
