The celebration of the Gulf Family Day aims to enhance family and social awareness and cohesion, strengthen social and communication skills among family members, stimulate teamwork among them, revive and preserve authentic family values, and emphasize the rights of the family and enhance its position as a social institution as the first building block in the entity of society.

International Day of the Deaf aims to raise awareness and introduce deaf culture and sign language.

The Fourth Gulf Family Policy Forum was organized on August 28 and 29, within the framework of cooperation and coordination between the Doha International Family Institute and the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The forum is being held this year in its fourth consecutive edition in Doha, Qatar. The general objective of the forum is to discuss the sustainability of family institutions in the GCC countries and the challenges that have arisen in the family structure.
