“Social Development” takes part in "Hal Halalak" exhibition in conjunction with the Ministry of Sports and Youth
Represented by the Family Empowerment Department, the Ministry of Social Development and Family participated in "Hal Halalak" exhibition organized by the Al Majd Girls Center affiliated to the Ministry of Sports and Youth. This exhibition aims to provide a platform to enable female entrepreneurs who own national production projects and present their products and services to visitors in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan.
This comes within the framework of the continuous initiatives launched by the Ministry to support both national production projects and local products. This initiative also seeks to enable emerging, small, and medium enterprises to promote their products and expand their reach.
The exhibition, which was held from March 17-21, at the Center’s headquarters in the city of the North, witnessed the participation of many different projects and products, including fashion, accessories, spices and perfumes, incense and handicrafts, and food and beverages.
Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi, Director of the Family Empowerment Department, stressed the importance of the role and efforts made by the Ministry in supporting such productive projects. It also enhances the productivity of families in advanced ways that ensure their success by launching incentive initiatives to encourage entrepreneurship. Considering this, activities like these serve the visions aimed at advancing this vital sector and increasing their contribution to the sustainable economic development of the country.
The participation of this exhibition is the result of cooperation between both Ministries: The Ministry of Social Development and Family, and the Ministry of Sports and Youth to enhance the exchange of experiences and expand areas of cooperation, ensuring the provision of sustainable social services of high quality in a developed and innovative way for the target groups.
The Ministry affirms its intention to intensify its relations and cooperation with various entities and institutions, and their endeavours together to generalize and expand the experience of these projects and stimulate, support, and develop them to market their products at local and regional levels in the future.
For her part, Ms. Haya Jassim Al-Kubaisi, Executive Director of the Al Majd Girls Center, confirmed that the Ministry's participation enhances cooperation between the two parties, especially since Al Majd Center is looking forward to benefiting from the experiences of the owners of national productive projects "From the Homeland".
Moreover, she pointed out: "It is our duty, as a youth Center affiliated with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, to facilitate services, and to provide a suitable place for project owners to display and market their products through these joint activities." Al-Kubaisi praised the ministry's role in making this event a success. Positive values and trends that suit the culture of Qatari society, develop their skills, develop their talents, and invest their energies.”
She clarified the Center’s endeavours to meet the needs of society by providing qualitative programmes, activities, and initiatives, to build personalities with conscious thinking and authentic religious and social values, as well as discovering and directing talents and energies.
