Minister of Social Development and Family heads the Qatari delegation participating in Oslo international conference on the protection of children in armed conflict
Her Excellency Minister of Social Development and Family, Chair of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, heads the delegation of Qatar participating in the Oslo International Conference on the Protection of Children in Armed Conflicts, which is being held in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, for two days, with the participation of several senior officials.
During her participation in the conference, Her Excellency affirmed that the state of Qatar is fully prepared to provide a helping hand to ensure that children are spared the scourge of armed conflicts around the world, support the afflicted groups from them, and rescue them from the consequences of recruitment, exploitation and psychological and social crises.
She also stressed that preventive diplomacy is one of the most important pillars that the State of Qatar relies on in its foreign policy, which is embodied in its being a priority at all levels to resolve conflicts through peaceful means and achieve peace wherever conflicts take place.
