43% of the ministry's services are electronic
The Ministry of Social Development and Family provides 54 services to the public. 23 of which are electronic services, and 31 are paper services. Electronic services represent about 43% of the services provided by the Ministry through its website, which was launched in the last period, allowing citizens to complete all transactions and services electronically.
The Ministry affirmed that these electronic services guarantee the right to use it for all segments of society, including the deaf, dumb, and people with disabilities. This came through a platform that includes social security services, citizen housing, and citizen initiatives and recommendations. The Ministry is also working during the coming period to upgrade some other services, which contributes to the development of services provided to the public.
During the past year 2022, the ministry obtained the ISO27001 certificate from the International Organization for Standardization ISO. This was after applying the latest international standards in the field of management, information security, and risk assessment, as well as raising the level of efficiency in providing government services provided, allowing citizens to obtain them from one place and in a short time.
"Project Data Recording"
The Ministry also confirmed the availability of the service of registering data for national production projects, for Qatari citizens, after evaluating their production, provided that the product is locally manufactured. It also confirms that one of the conditions for registering with this service is that registration is for Qataris and children of Qatari women. Thus, the product is produced or designed by the owner of the project, and samples of the product of not less than five (5) items must also be brought.
Furthermore, it indicated that only one product is allocated to each project owner. Submission to register for the service is on paper from the Department of Family Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development in Burj Al-Huda. This is done by downloading and filling out the application form, provided that a copy of the personal card and production samples are attached.
It also provides financial support and free spaces, as an award for the best supporter of national productive projects, pointing out that the award can be applied within two months from the date of announcing the award, which was launched last December 29, 2022. The ministry provides another type of support for productive families, for those who have obtained the prize.
The Ministry indicated that the award is available to national companies, which can apply for the award in paper form at the headquarters of the Ministry. It also indicates that it allowed those wishing to apply for the award to obtain the application through its website. The applicant fills out the form and attaches any supporting documents. In addition, the evaluation criteria for the award require that the project be still in existence and continuing to work and that it possesses the standards of modernity and innovation, provided that the extent of the financial gain of the productive families from the support is measured.
