MSDF Participates in Concluding Student Activities Exhibition 2024–2025
The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by its Family Empowerment Department, took part in the Concluding Exhibition of Student Programs and Activities for the academic year 2024–2025. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education organized this event from May 24 to 25, 2025, at Galleria Mall – Al Hazm, and it featured numerous government entities and educational institutions.
MSDF’s interactive booth included a documentary video highlighting the key efforts of the Family Empowerment Department throughout the academic year. These efforts primarily focused on training workshops and awareness sessions for public school students, a collaborative initiative with the Ministry of Education. The booth also offered various free handicraft activities, which proved highly popular with visitors, especially students and parents.
Ms. Fatima Al-Nuaimi, Director of the Family Empowerment Department, emphasized that this participation aimed to instill values of national identity in students and foster a generation aware of the importance of community service. She noted that such exhibitions offer a genuine opportunity to develop the skills and capabilities of young people, aligning with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, which prioritizes human development.
Al-Nuaimi added that the Family Empowerment Department is dedicated to launching quality initiatives that enhance family cohesion and community awareness. This is achieved by expanding partnerships with educational institutions and organizations focused on childhood and education. She underscored the importance of utilizing educational events to promote values and encourage positive engagement between students and the broader community.
The exhibition served as a purposeful interactive platform where the MSDF showcased its key achievements in supporting students and educational staff. This support included training and awareness programs designed to build character and enhance life skills, consistent with the Ministry's vision to empower individuals and families and ensure their active participation in sustainable development.
This participation reinforces the MSDF's crucial role in backing educational and community initiatives and strengthening strategic partnerships with various sectors, particularly the education sector, given its fundamental contribution to preparing future generations capable of driving the nation's progress.
