The manual provides an integrated regulatory and procedural framework for the journey of productive families, starting with registration in the National Productive Projects System "From the Homeland" (From Home), which constitutes the fundamental step to benefiting from services and obtaining a reference number within the unified national database. The journey extends to accessing training and qualification programs, marketing opportunities, participating in exhibitions and sales outlets, and competing for the Productive Families Incentive Award.

Director of the Family Empowerment Department at the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Bouthaina Al Obaidli, stated that releasing the guide falls within the Ministry's commitment to establishing a clear, unified ecosystem of services for productive families, facilitating their access to programs that help develop their projects and ensure their long-term sustainability.

Al Obaidli added that the guide was designed as a practical and comprehensive reference to accompany productive families across all stages of their projects. She noted that it outlines procedures, requirements, and available services in a simplified manner, aiming to render the family’s journey—from registration and capacity building to marketing and expansion—clearer and smoother, enabling project owners to focus on product development and market competitiveness.

She further emphasized that the guide’s role extends beyond clarifying procedures to consolidating all opportunities and support services provided by the Ministry and partner entities into a single source. This allows business owners to better capitalize on available training, development, and marketing programs.

Al Obaidli pointed out that the "From the Homeland" system acts as the launching pad for accessing this service network. She affirmed that the Ministry works continuously to develop initiatives and partnerships that help families transform their skills and products into sustainable, competitive enterprises, thereby strengthening their contribution to Qatar's social and economic development.

The manual details registration procedures, prerequisites, required documentation, and service delivery channels, alongside product evaluation mechanisms and system data inclusion. It also outlines cases in which services may be suspended or registrations canceled, such as submitting false data or documents, operating outside the licensed activity, violating health and food safety standards, failing to comply with exhibition or sales outlet participation rules, or failing to renew home-based business licenses upon expiration.

Regarding training and capacity building, the guide highlights programs, workshops, and training courses organized by the Family Empowerment Department in coordination with supporting partners. These programs, which focus on production, marketing, financial management, and entrepreneurship, are offered free of charge to families registered under the "From the Homeland" system.
