
The Minister of Social Development and Family conducts an inspects visit to the Assistive Technology (Mada)
Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, visited the Ministry's Mada Centre this morning. During her visit, Her Excellency shared the Centre's strategy and discussed with the Center's team future projects, particularly with regard to enabling persons with disabilities to participate independently by strengthening the ICT access ecosystem.
Mada is a leading center for innovation in ICT access regionally and globally. Through smart strategic partnerships, it empowers different sectors to ensure broad access, through ICT to enhance educational, employment, professional development and entrepreneurship opportunities for persons with disabilities.
This agreement highlights on the Ministry's responsibilities to implement national family welfare plans, raise awareness of the importance of family cohesion, and prepare the Ministry's strategic plan in line with Qatar Vision 2030.

The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Department of Community Care, organized an awareness event titled “Our Youth in the Service of Our Community” in conjunction with the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The event took place at the Galleria Al Hazm Hall.
