MSDF Minister Honors 29 Graduates of Al Noor Center 2025
Under the patronage and in the presence of Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family, the Al Noor Center for the Blind, one of the centers operating under the umbrella of the Qatar Social Work Foundation, held its closing ceremony for the academic year 2024–2025. The event took place at the center's headquarters in Lusail City, where 29 graduates from the center's members and beneficiaries of integrated schools and universities were honored.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, several high-ranking officials from the state, representatives of official and community organizations, as well as the families of the members and beneficiaries, and those interested in the field of visual impairment.
The ceremony also featured an accompanying exhibition titled "Journey of Light," which highlighted the member's journey from the assessment phase, through rehabilitation and integration programs, leading up to graduation. The exhibition was divided into three sections: assistive technology tools, a corner for vocational rehabilitation showcasing prominent products made by the members, in addition to artistic paintings and works expressing the skills they acquired during their rehabilitation period.
The ceremony concluded with the graduation honoring ceremony, followed by a group photo that included the members, beneficiaries, their families, and guests. This moment capped a year of continuous achievement and work in serving and empowering individuals with visual impairments.
