MSDF Receives Top Honors for Disability Employment and Localization
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau and Secretary-General of the National Planning Council, honored the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) for achieving the targeted rates in localization and the employment of persons with disabilities for the year 2024.
This recognition took place during the ninth workshop for human resources directors in government entities, organized by the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau. Mr. Hamad Al-Obaidan, Director of Human Resources at the Ministry, represented MSDF at the event.
This honor acknowledges the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development and Family in supporting the employment and empowerment of persons with disabilities and achieving the targeted rates in this regard. It reflects the Ministry's commitment to a comprehensive development vision that promotes equality and equal opportunities for all segments of society, particularly those most in need.
On the sidelines of the workshop, several presentations were given by departments of the Civil Service Bureau, such as the Talent Management and National Human Resources Development Department, the Government Sector Workforce Planning Department, and the Human Resources Information Systems Center. These presentations highlighted key digital initiatives and achievements in developing the human resources system in the country.
In this context, the Ministry of Social Development and Family affirmed that this honor embodies its firm vision in supporting persons with disabilities and its continuous commitment to involving them in comprehensive development paths. The Ministry also considered this recognition an additional motivation to continue joint work with relevant authorities to enhance the inclusion of this group in society and provide a supportive environment that ensures them a dignified life and equal opportunities.
The Ministry values this appreciation at a crucial time that requires further exchange of experiences and concerted efforts to develop initiatives and policies that enhance the societal empowerment of persons with disabilities, in line with the aspirations of the State of Qatar towards comprehensive and sustainable development.
