MSDF and Qatar Social Work Partner host National Sports Day Activities 2025
Under the patronage of Her Excellency Mrs. Buthaina bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family, the Ministry, in cooperation with the Qatar Social Work, will host National Sports Day activities at the Al-Noor Institute for the Blind on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.
The event will promote the importance of sports and physical activity for individuals and communities.
Dignitaries will join members of the Ministry, the Qatar Social Work, and the Al Noor Insitute for a variety of sports and movement activities suitable for all ages. These include floor billiards, baby foot, table tennis, badminton, children's basketball, volleyball, sticky ball shooting, shooting competitions, mini golf, cone and ball races, and hoop races.
The Ministry emphasizes the role of sports in building a healthy and safe society, strengthening social ties, and fostering a sense of community. These activities align with Qatar National Vision 2030, which recognizes sports as a crucial pillar for the development of citizens and the nation. The event reflects the commitment to promoting physical and mental well-being and building a strong future for Qatar.
The Ministry recognizes the vital link between sports and society, highlighting its contribution to education and community engagement. National Sports Day is an integral part of the Ministry's strategy to raise awareness about the importance of sports for sustainable development, family health, and social solidarity.
