“Social Development” trains owners of productive projects on the basics of product photography with smartphones
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Family Empowerment Department, in cooperation with Snoonu Company, organized a workshop on “Product Photography with Smartphones” to support owners of productive projects From the Homeland on December 27 and 28 at the Social Development Center in Quartier Canal in the Pearl.
This workshop supports owners of productive projects From the Homeland, as it reflects the administration’s interest in developing them in various fields, including photographing products using smartphones due to their high photographic quality that almost rivals many advanced digital cameras.
Journalist Sarah Al-Saadi presented the workshop, which covered several topics, the most important of which were instructions before starting filming, the necessity of choosing the appropriate place, choosing the type of lighting, whether natural or alternative, and using the suitable place for each of the lighting, the product, and the phone when photographing.
She also explained the rules for holding the phone and moving it flexibly to avoid vibration and choosing the appropriate shooting angle according to the product and type of background to get the best results.
During the workshop, She also discussed practical applications of photographing still images and editing images using the Picsart platform. Mrs. Al-Saadi pointed out the difference between shooting video and still photos. Video shooting is for products that need movement to clarify the details of the product.
After the workshop, Mrs. Sarah Al-Saadi said: “I am proud of the owners of these projects. Photography is never an obstacle for them since they achieve success in productivity. Technology has made it easier for us, and we are here to help each other.”
Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi, Director of the Family Empowerment Department, confirmed that the Ministry’s cooperation with Snoonu Company in this workshop aims to teach them the basics of photography and provide them with basic skills in this field professionally.
She added that the Ministry is keen to develop the skills and capabilities of the owners of these projects by involving them in training workshops and awareness lectures, providing ancillary services, and supporting and empowering them in society.
It is worth noting that Snoonu Company contributes to supporting production projects by promoting them in its own application. This cooperation between the Ministry of Social Development and Family and Snoonu also represents a step towards providing a vital and fertile environment for productive projects in the country.
