National Productive entrepreneurs participate in Darb Al-Saai activities
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Family Empowerment Department, have taken part in Darb Al-Saai with the participation of national productive entrepreneurs during the period from 10 to 18 December, as part of the activities of the State of Qatar on the National Day at the permanent headquarters of Darb Al-Saai in Umm-Salal.
The events are aimed at enhancing the participation of all members of society in the celebrations of the National Day and highlighting Qatar's history and inherent heritage, which is why Various entities in the country are also taking part in this celebration.
Darb Al-Saai welcomes its visitors from 3 pm to 11 pm, where the public can see the heritage aspect reviewed by the owners of productive entrepreneurs, learn about the finest national products, and enjoy shopping from various goods, including the Sadu industry, artistic artifacts, spices, tasting popular food of all kinds, and other local products, and their participation in Darb Al-Saai is an opportunity to showcase and market their products that are well received and promoted among visitors.
Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi, Director of the Family Empowerment Department, said that the participation of productive entrepreneurs in Darb Al-Saai is a support and encouragement for them, and an opportunity to market their products and empower them economically, as the Ministry is constantly keen to provide support to small business owners, and invites them to participate in various events and occasions in the country to promote their products and develop their capabilities. She added that their presence in Darb Al Saai activities reflects the authentic Qatari heritage by by showcasing ancient traditional products and crafts, noting that these events align with the organizing committee's vision of National Day celebrations by highlighting Qatari culture and reviewing popular legacies.
About 14 productive entrepreneurs are present at Darb Al-Saai events this year with the aim of promoting multiple national products, as their products vary to include perfumes, incense, and textiles, in addition to handicrafts, heritage legacies, artworks, and other activities that carry the nature of innovation and creativity.
The events feature demonstrations of small and home-based entrepreneurs' production experiences, as well as the support that entrepreneurs have received to become entrepreneurs who contribute their creativity and ingenuity to the achievement of Qatar's National Vision 2030.
Through the involvement of productive entrepreneurs at this event, the Ministry showcases a variety of quality initiatives and achievements that strengthen the vision, progress, and empowerment of exceptional businesses, as well as making great efforts to empower small entrepreneurs and ensure their participation in all events, exhibitions, and conferences held in the country, helping them overcome all the difficulties they face and make them productive individuals, not consumers.
