
MSDF Minister praises Tunisia organizing Arab preparatory meeting for Social Development Summit
Tunis: Minister of Social Development and Family H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al-Nuaimi has praised the significant efforts made by the Republic of Tunisia, in collaboration with the League of Arab States, in hosting and organizing the high-level Arab regional meeting to prepare for the Second World Summit for Social Development, which will be hosted by the State of Qatar from November 4 to 6.
During her meeting with Tunisian Minister of Social Affairs H E Issam Al Ahmar, the Minister affirmed that the distinguished organization of the meeting embodies Tunisia’s commitment to supporting social and development work in the Arab region and reflects its keenness to enhance cooperation between sisterly countries to achieve common goals in the field of sustainable development.
She highlighted the importance of continuing this constructive approach of cooperation and coordination among Arab countries, which contributes to raising the level of well-being in societies and promoting comprehensive development policies. At the conclusion of the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Tunisia in the areas of social development were reviewed, as well as expanding the scope of joint development initiatives to support the two countries’ strategic directions in this area.
