This participation enables economically productive projects, helps project owners develop their capabilities, provides marketing opportunities for their products, and increases their competitiveness. It also highlights handicrafts that achieve sustainable economic development for society, encourage local production and self-employment among Qatari families, enhance women’s economic role and contribution to production, and diversify the production base, enriching the labor market and diversifying marketing fields.
National project owners praised the unlimited support provided to them by the Ministry. The production projects witnessed significant progress in the fields of production in terms of support and highlighting their projects in strategic locations, festivals, and events held by the state, and contributing to developing the exhibitors’ commercial skills professionally and several locations under a marketing platform bearing the slogan: Home Grown. The Ministry also helps meet the needs of all members of society, stimulates innovation, and enhances self-sufficiency, which contributes to improving the quality of products and their ability to compete.
For her part, Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi, Director of the Family Empowerment Department, said that national projects continue to participate in local events throughout the year. These projects bring together male and female entrepreneurs and owners of small and emerging companies to market their products and to guide the community, companies, and business owners about product nationalism directly.
