She added: This session is distinguished for more than one reason because it raises more than one topic in the Arab arena, and there is a strong interest from all countries in these issues, the most important of which is multidimensional poverty and changing the ratios related to it with changing conditions resulting from the Corona crisis, and the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, as poverty rates have changed. At the level of the Arab countries, due to a boom in some countries, and a recession in other countries, along with the high prices, the rise in poverty rates, and the fall of part of the middle class into the most vulnerable.
Qatari experience
Regarding the Qatari-Egyptian cooperation, Her Excellency the Minister said: We were honored to receive Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, during her visit to Egypt in early August, and she visited several development activities in the field of care, orphans, people with disabilities, and economic empowerment. We were also honored once again to receive her Excellency among the 13 participating countries in the Bayt Al Arab Conference and Exhibition for Arab Productive Families, where the products of the participating countries were reviewed. On what distinguishes the Qatari experience in the field of social care, Her Excellency said: The Qatari experience is very successful, especially in the part related to providing people with disabilities with many benefits, and it also has a very positive experience in family matters, and it has a very strong symbiotic system and social protection from the state for local communities. Not only for Qatari citizens, but also all residents of Qatari lands, and we salute her for this effort, and we aspire to strengthen the bonds of partnership more during the coming period, especially in the field of families, people with disabilities, and productive families.
