Social Development" and "Human Rights" develop cooperation
The Ministry of Social Development and Family signed an understanding memorandum with the National Human Rights Committee yesterday. This came to develop and deepen the cooperation between them and to benefit from the common capabilities of the two parties.
During the opening session of the International Conference on Climate Change and Human Rights, this memorandum was signed on behalf of the Ministry by Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, while it was signed on behalf of the National Human Rights Committee by Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam bint Abdullah Al-Attiyah, Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee.
The memorandum covers cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of lessons learned, enriching awareness-raising activities, and addressing international and local opinions on issues related to the social sector.

The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Community Care Department, participated in a panel discussion organized by Sidra Medicine in collaboration with Msheireb Museums titled "Different Abilities, Shared Future: Disability and Success."
