Qatar Participates in 5th Budapest Demographic Summit
Budapest, September 14
The State of Qatar is participating the Fifth Budapest Demographic Summit which stated on Thursday under the theme "Family is the key to security." HE Minister of Social Development and Family Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad is heading the delegation of the State of Qatar to the two-day summit.
The summit was opened in the presence of Her Excellency President Katalin Novak, President of Hungary, Her Excellency Ms. Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, His Excellency President Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia, His Excellency President Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, His Excellency Mr. Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, and His Excellency Dr. Filip Mpango, Deputy The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, and a number of Their Excellencies heads of government, at the headquarters of the Fine Arts Museum in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
In its opening session, the summit discussed how policy makers, including leaders of countries and governments, can contribute to introducing and supporting established family policies, as the most important nucleus of all societal and national security frameworks and strategies for countries against negative behavioural phenomena, especially in the fields of organized crime, terrorism, instability, economic decline, and illegal immigration, legitimacy, loss of national identity, and other challenges at the present time.

The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by its Human Resources Department, participated for the first time in the "Little Employee" initiative. This participation reflects the State of Qatar’s active presence in international initiatives aimed at preparing future leaders.
