Qatar Participates in Meetings of Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction
The State of Qatar participated on Wednesday in the meetings of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction, held at the headquarters of the Arab League's General Secretariat, and runs for two days.
This participation comes within the framework of Qatar's efforts to support joint Arab cooperation in the fields of housing, reconstruction, and sustainable urban development, and to prepare for the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction, which will be held in Doha from December 14 to 16.
Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Fahd Mohammed Al Khayarin, chaired the State of Qatar's delegation to the meetings.
Moreover, Qatar also took part in the 71st meeting of the technical scientific advisory committee, which ran from October 19 to 21.
The State of Qatar's participation in these meetings contribute to the exchange of expertise and to the agenda's discussions, which aim to enhance Arab cooperation in the housing sector and develop mechanisms for joint action in addressing the challenges facing Arab countries in this vital sector.
The meetings were an opportunity for Qatar to showcase its preparations to host the 6th Arab Ministerial Forum on Housing and Urban Development 2025, which will be held in conjunction with the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction
