"Social Development” enhances the value of humility through a "Be Humble to Rise" event
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Department of Community Development, participated in the Be Humble to Rise event within the Akhlaquna initiative, organized by Qatar Foundation, at the main theater at Darb Al Saai headquarters on Monday, December 18th.
This event coincides with the launch of the Akhlaquna initiative, which aims to instill moral values among children to spread good behaviors within the society recommended by our Prophet (peace be upon him).
It also strives to enhance this value among children and adolescents, as it is one of the most crucial qualities in raising our children and instilling it in them to achieve the desired goal and reach a society that respects these values.
In cooperation with the Center for Theater Affairs at the Ministry of Culture, the event includes a purposeful theatrical performance consisting of stories related to the initiative and centered around the value of humility, presented by the distinguished artist Hadiya Saeed, with the participation of the Qatari artist Munther Thani.
The artist Hadiya Saeed performed in a mesmerizing theatrical style Hazawi: a story that emulates the importance of humility as a moral behavior encouraged by our Islamic religion, through which the artist was able, in her distinctive popular way, to tell stories to children and adults that encourage good morals.
For her part, she expressed her happiness after feeling the audience interaction, especially the children, explaining that these stories have a remarkable impact on the children, as they make the child feel warm and familiar. These stories also aim to provide children with some traditional vocabulary.
Mrs. Hadeel Al-Ajeel, Director of the Community Development Department, said, "We can achieve progress and development if we highlight this virtue. It also encourages our children to be humble in their dealings with others. Raising a child to be humble is essential, and it will reflect its positive impact on the family and society." She added that when we act in a spirit of humility, we are ready to listen and learn from others, and we are capable of improvement, as it is a quality that helps us respect and understand others and enhances positive relationships.
It is worth noting that Be Humble to Rise event falls under the Akhlaquna initiative, which focuses on raising generations on good virtues and promoting the values that fall under the creation of humility, such as tolerance, understanding, cooperation, and respect between individuals, and eliminating arrogance, discrimination, and all morals that Islam has rejected and forbidden.
