From the Homeland’s Owners participate in the Qatar Camel Festival 2024
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Family Empowerment Department, participates in an exhibition for productive owners in the activities of the Qatar Camel Festival, “Jazilat Al-Atta” in its third edition. The exhibition supports, until February 17, From the Homeland's productive projects located in Lebsayer Square in Al Shahaniya.
This participation promotes the products of national projects by allocating a marketing window for them in various events held in the country, helping them develop their capabilities and talents, and empowering these projects economically.
“Jazilat Al-Atta” exhibition aims to provide marketing opportunities for their products, increase their competitiveness, and highlight and revive crafts, in addition to encouraging local production, enhancing the economic role of women and the family, their contribution to production, and enriching the labor market through diversification in the production base and marketing fields.
10 owners of From the Homeland projects will participate in the exhibition accompanying the festival with various products that reflect the Qatari heritage, such as projects selling artistic paintings, weaving Sadu fabric, and shaping it to make camel accessories, in addition to the presence of some projects specialized in selling local Qatari foods to visitors.
This festival is a social forum highlighting Qatari heritage, and it is an opportunity to stimulate domestic tourism and attract visitors by holding several events and activities accompanying it. It also supports owners of small and medium enterprises and provides an opportunity to revive Qatari heritage and introduce it to the younger generation.
Within this context, Mrs. Fatima Al Nuaimi, Director of the Family Empowerment Department, said: “The Ministry is keen to develop the skills and capabilities of the owners of these projects by involving them in training workshops and awareness lectures, providing auxiliary services, advancing them, assisting them, and raising their productivity.” She stated that the Ministry also enhances their efficiency and allows them to introduce and promote their products by involving them in marketing outlets such as exhibitions and events organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the relevant authorities in the country.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Social Development and Family has made great efforts to provide more marketing opportunities for owners of national productive projects, From the Homeland, in particular, and to ensure their participation in various events and exhibitions that are held in the country throughout the year, to overcome all the difficulties they face, and to make them more professional productive individuals.
The Ministry focused its efforts on developing local industries and accelerating procedures for owners of national productive projects From the Homeland to complete their projects to achieve higher rates of self-sufficiency, and this has contributed to increasing the demand for entrepreneurs for small and medium enterprises.
It also affirmed its confidence in the owners who enrich local production and praised their strong influence in advancing economic and social development.
