MSDF Highlights Values at Akhlaquna 2025 Exhibition
The Ministry of Social Development and Family actively participated in the Akhlaquna 2025 Exhibition at the Qatar National Convention Centre from April 30 to May 1. Represented by its Family Development Department, the Ministry aimed to raise awareness about its "Enhancing Values" initiative, dedicated to instilling and strengthening crucial social and family values in young people.
During the exhibition, the Ministry's pavilion showcased informative publications and distributed engaging gifts to visiting students. A key focus was highlighting the Ministry's various programs and initiatives in ethical values, notably the "Family is the Treasure of a Nation" campaign. This collaborative effort involved conducting workshops in numerous schools to promote the significance of compassion and strong family bonds.
The Akhlaquna 2025 event also featured the "Thank You" campaign, and an interactive exhibition designed to foster ethical values within the wider community. The accompanying exhibition at the Education City Student Center saw significant engagement from governmental bodies and educational institutions, including the Juvenile Police Department, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and Qatar Foundation for Social Work.
Notably, Qatar Foundation hosted an awards ceremony during the same period in Education City to honor the winners of the Akhlaquna Award for 2025, with prominent figures and representatives from participating organizations in attendance.
The Family Development Department emphasized that their participation in the Akhlaquna Exhibition underscores the Ministry's commitment to its community role and ongoing collaboration with diverse stakeholders. This partnership aims to disseminate a culture of strong values and reinforce a national identity rooted in ethics and fundamental human principles, aligning with the broader goals of the Akhlaquna initiative in promoting moral excellence.
The Ministry highlighted compassion as a paramount human value that strengthens cooperation and solidarity, fostering unity and support. It emphasized that compassion offers hope to those in need, reinforces community bonds, cultivates responsibility, and ultimately contributes to building a better world grounded in humanity.
The Akhlaquna Award, an initiative launched in 2017 by H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, seeks to underscore the intrinsic link between knowledge and good morals. It recognizes and celebrates young individuals within the community who exemplify outstanding ethics, values, and positive conduct, contributing to the ethical fabric of society, which resonates with the Ministry's "Enhancing Values" initiative.

The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Family Protection Section of the Social Protection Department, is set to launch the "Gharsa Program" in collaboration with the Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. The inaugural event will take place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Women’s Activity Building of the Department of Da'wah, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
