MSDF Organizes Workshop on Code of Conduct and Integrity for Public Officials
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Human Resources Department’s Administrative Training and Development Section, organized an awareness workshop titled "Code of Conduct and Integrity for Public Officials" in cooperation with the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority. This workshop targeted department heads within the Ministry and aimed to introduce the principles of the code while enhancing values of integrity and transparency in the government work environment. Furthermore, it sought to consolidate the behavioral and ethical standards that govern the performance of public employees, ultimately contributing to higher levels of trust between service recipients and government personnel.
The workshop addressed several key pillars, most notably the definition and significance of the charter and the ethics of work within government entities. It also covered the guiding principles for implementing the code, the obligations of public employees, and the preservation of public funds, property, and official documents. Additionally, the sessions focused on managing cases of conflict of interest, the foundations of professional engagement with service recipients, and the responsible use of information technology.
