“Social Development” adopts the talents of Ehsan Center associates
Doha, the Ministry of Social Development and Family, in cooperation with the Center for Empowerment and Care of the Elderly (Ehsan), held the “From the Homeland” exhibition for elderly female affiliates in Sikkat Al-Wadi Msheireb, and it will continue until May 15.
This exhibition aims to provide a platform to enable the productive projects of women to promote their products to the public. It encourages productive groups in centers under the umbrella of the Ministry.
Mrs. Fatima Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, Acting Director of the Family Empowerment Department at the Ministry, stated: “We, as the Ministry of Social Development and Family, are proud to support the elderly members of Ehsan Center. We give this group the utmost attention as they are the basis of society. Therefore, we always strive to support their creativity.”
For his part, Mr. Jaber Muhammad Al-Marri, Director of the Communication and Media Office at Ehsan Center, stressed the importance of involving the elderly in activities that consolidate their effective role in society, while emphasizing their ability to continue giving. This initiative is a good gesture by the Ministry, encouraging them to continue their creativity by allowing them to promote their abilities.
Al-Marri also explained that these events highlight the objectives on which Ehsan Centre works to achieve them for the sake of its associates through the support provided by the Ministry of Social Development and Family and other partners.
Ms. Faiza Muhammad Al Nuaimi, writer and owner of the Gulf Center project stated that her participation is an opportunity to interact with the public while display her books. She also said: "Being a former social and psychological specialist, I was keen to present my books to my society as this notebook: Measures of Personality Styles and Intelligences. My books also spread awareness to all society members, and it maintains its cohesion.”
She added, “Social Reflections book came out of my keenness to build a healthy family without psychological problems. On one hand, I hope that students will benefit from my books by adding them to their curriculum, on the other hand, I wish teacher will be benefited too by training courses.”
Mrs. Zabya Saif Al-Mahanadi, the owner of the "Daraati Ghair" project, explained that her participation in the exhibition allows her to present her products to the public and enhances her project. She said, “I also thank the Ministry of Social Development and Family and Ehsan Center for their constant support and encouragement.”
The Productive Projects Initiative “From the Homeland” contributes to the empowerment of Qatari families and to the creation of a diversified economy that establishes a culture of productivity in order to raise the productivity and develop the skills of the families.

The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Family Protection Section of the Social Protection Department, is set to launch the "Gharsa Program" in collaboration with the Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. The inaugural event will take place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Women’s Activity Building of the Department of Da'wah, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
