The Department of Family Affairs organizes the “Child and Peace” event
Represented by the Family Affairs Department, Family Development Section, the Ministry of Social Development and Family organized an event to celebrate International Children's Day, under the title "Children and Peace".
On Saturday evening, the event, which was held in Aspire Park, included several activities, and it included the next: making and decorating cupcakes, installing stickers on the world map, and distributing hats to children.
Mrs. Hadeel Ali Al-Ajeel, the head of the Family Development Department at the Ministry's Family Affairs, said that the celebration of World Children's Day aims to write letters from children to the countries of the world and to bring joy, pleasure, and pleasure to children's souls. This came through art and creativity to encourage them to express their creativity and develop their imagination, and through various activities that contribute to spreading the spirit of teamwork among children, participation, fun, and education. She also indicated that the Family Affairs Department seeks, through this event, to confirm its interest in childhood and its keenness to nurture healthy and happy children, in addition to strengthening the bond between children and the community groups.
