Social Development and Family concludes the Qatfa program in its first season
Under the patronage of Sheikha Sheikha bint Jasim Al-Thani, Assistant Under-Secretary for Family Affairs, Ministry of Social Development and Family in cooperation with the Ajyal Educational Centre the Qatfa program was concluded in its first season. The program involved 275 students in the 6-13 age group, which aims to promote self-confidence and a spirit of good citizenship. Within the framework of the Ministry's desire to support young people and upgrade their abilities and skills and provide them with cognitive science and practical skills that enable them to meet various challenges and build a bright future.
The program has witnessed a wide participation of students to engage in a rich and unique experience, with the aim of empowering and developing them by discovering their strengths and areas of development. As well as providing them with the tools they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives, thereby enhancing their abilities to be eligible for future leadership positions in society.
According to the established work plan, participants in the program enrolled in various workshops, courses, and events covering the main program themes and aiming to develop effective leadership skills such as problem solving, decision-making, communication skills, teamwork, and assuming responsibility. The program also included improving social skills such as enhancing self-confidence and positive citizenship as well as volunteer work.
