MSDF launches Qatar Family Day 2025 activities at Katara

The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) has organized the launch of Family Day in Qatar activities today at the Cultural Village Katara, with broad participation from various governmental and private entities, as well as civil society organizations and centers affiliated with the ministry. The event will continue until April 19th of this month, daily from 5-9 PM at Al Hikma Square.

 MSDF's Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani opened the festivities that garnered wide participation of several state and private agencies as well as MSDF-linked civil society institutions and centers.

Also present at the inauguration were MSDF's Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Affairs, Fahd Mohammed Al Khayarin, and several executive directors of social work centers.

The activities, which continue until April 19, take place from 5 to 9 pm in Al-Hikma Square. The first day featured a series of awareness-raising and educational activities targeting various segments of society, highlighting family as a fundamental pillar of social development and a pillar of societal stability.

The activities also included interactive booths for children and specialized workshops for families, organized in cooperation with participating entities.

Qatar Family Day 2025 aligns with the framework of the State of Qatar's commitment to promoting family cohesion and supporting social policies that contribute to protecting and empowering the family, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
