Ooredoo sponsors the "Let's Walk - One Million Steps " initiative

Ooredoo announced the sponsorship of the "Let's Walk - A Million Steps" initiative launched by the Ministry of Social Development and Family during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to encourage family members to exercise together by offering rewards for completing a certain number of steps, with the aim of maintaining health and family relationships.

The activities of this initiative will be held in Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City and Aspire Zone. To participate, all the family has to do is scan the QR code on the site, record the required information, and choose the required distance. Upon completion of the task, they can review the initiative corner to receive the reward, which is a voucher from one of the sponsors.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, participated in the initiative's activities on Saturday, April 9, along with Her Excellency Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad - Minister of Social Development and Family.

In this regard, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, said: “We are pleased to support the Ministry of Social Development and Family in this purposeful initiative. We at Ooredoo are committed to supporting initiatives that encourage exercise and maintaining health and activity, and this initiative comes to achieve this in addition to strengthening family ties during these blessed days, making them special in every sense of the word.
