The Ministry of Social Development announces the names of the winners of the "Gulf Family Day Logo" competition
The Ministry of Social Development and Family, in cooperation with the Social Affairs Experts Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council, held award ceremony for the winners of the Gulf Family Day Logo competition, on Monday, June 26, at the Ministry's headquarters.
This competition was held in cooperation with the Social Affairs Experts Committee of the GCC and in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Council and the Executive Office of the GCC, in a project to design the unified Gulf logo for the Gulf Family Day, which will be launched on the 14th of September this year, in implementation of the decision of the Committee of Excellencies the Ministers of Social Development Affairs of the GCC.
The winners of the Gulf Family Day Logo competition were announced and awarded during the ceremony, in the presence of Her Excellency Sheikha / Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani, Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs at the Ministry. Ms. Samira Abdul Rahman Al-Abdullah won the first place, Ms. Moza Saleh Al-Buainain won the second place, and Ms. Maha Ghaith Al-Kuwari won the third place.
It is worth noting that number of employees of the Ministry of Social Development and Family and members of the Qatar Society for Fine Arts have participated in the Gulf Family Day Logo competition. The winners were selected by the Gulf Family Day Logo evaluation committee, which consists of the Planning and Quality Department, Public Relations and Communication Department, and the Private Associations and Institutions Department at the Ministry. They were selected according to the terms and criteria of the competition.
By celebrating the Gulf Family Day, the Ministry of Social Development and Family aims to strengthen the Gulf identity, emphasize the importance of the family and ensuring its cohesion, and preserve the authentic values of our true Islamic religion and our ancient heritage.
