Qatar Takes Part in the International Conference in Armenia on Accelerating Disability Inclusive Social Protection
Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Social Development and Family, participated in the family sector with a delegation headed by Sheikha Sheikha Bint Jassim Al-Thani, Assistant Under-Secretary for Family Affairs, in the opening session of the regional conference. "A world without barriers - accelerating the implementation of comprehensive protection for persons with disabilities". Under the auspices and attendance of Mr. Narik Mkerdichyan, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, on Thursday, 25 April, which extended for two days.
Amidst the conference, HE Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al-Thani and HE the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Narik Mkrtchyan, met and deliberated on the potential for collaboration and knowledge sharing in the realm of social protection. They also reviewed the ongoing work related to issues affecting individuals with disabilities and the defense of children's rights.
