The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by the Department of Community Development, organized a workshop titled "Managing Institutional Volunteer Work," with the participation of representatives from over 25 entities. The event forms part of an ongoing series aimed at building the capacity of institutions, volunteers, and volunteer teams, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance volunteer efficiency and develop effective institutional management frameworks.

The session marked the first in a specialized training program dedicated to managing institutional volunteering. It aimed to expand participants' knowledge of core volunteerism concepts while deepening their understanding of how to align volunteer programs and initiatives with institutional goals and strategic plans.

The workshop covered several key themes, including governance and organizational aspects of volunteering, program management, and strategic planning for volunteer opportunities and initiatives. Discussions also highlighted strategies for volunteer recruitment and experience management to ensure a positive and sustainable impact. Additionally, the workshop reviewed the services offered by the National Volunteering Platform and its role in organizing and documenting volunteer opportunities, thereby bolstering management efficiency at the institutional level.

Participants actively engaged throughout the workshop by addressing key challenges, exchanging expertise, and reviewing best practices in volunteer management. These interactive discussions aim to elevate the quality of volunteer initiatives and foster broader community engagement within participating organizations.
