
Qatar participates in an International Forum
The State of Qatar participated in the "International Forum for Highlighting the Struggle of Algerian Women as a Model for the Struggle of Arab women in the Process of Liberating their Homelands", which was held as part of the activities commemorating the 60th anniversary of Independence as well as the Youth Day in the sisterly Republic of Algeria. The State of Qatar delegation was headed by HE. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family. In her speech, HE praised the role of the Algerian women in the renaissance of their country, and reviewed the efforts of the State of Qatar, programs and policies related to the advancement of women in various fields, besides the achievements made in this regard.
