The Minister of Social Development and Family meets with a UN official

Her Excellency Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and the Family, met with Dr. Rola Dashti, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), who is currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations and ways to enhance and develop them, in areas of common interest.

It is noteworthy that the State of Qatar is currently chairing the ninth session of the Committee on Women in the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) of the United Nations.
