PM attends graduation of 42 Shafallah Center members; unveils ‘Infinity Love’
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has attended the graduation ceremony of the 2024 batch of members of the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities.
Minister of Social Development and Family H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad Their Excellencies the Ministers, Ambassadors, and guests also attended the event.
As many as 43 members of Shafallah Center have graduated this year.
They received specialized educational and rehabilitation services according to the highest international standards for developing their capabilities, improving their skills, and enhancing their integration into society.
Shafallah Center works hard to provide all support and advice and seeks to enhance job opportunities and career advancement for people with disabilities in the labor market in cooperation with various ministries and state institutions.
Shafallah Center is proud of the achievements of its graduates in building the community and completing the process of construction and development under the wise leadership of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
On the other hand, one of the members gave a speech on behalf of the graduates of the Shafallah Center in which he confirmed that he and his fellow graduates underwent intensive training and qualifications from experienced professors and specialists.
He said that the graduates learned many social and job skills that enabled them to integrate into society and contribute effectively to serving the nation.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has unveiled ‘Infinity Love’, a stainless-steel sculpture in the form of Arabic calligraphy.
Minister of Social Development and Family H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad attended the event.
In the sculpture, the initial letter of the word “love” (حhaa) and the final letter (ب baa) intertwine to form the infinity symbol, creating a visual metaphor for both feelings of endlessness and unity, whether the bonds are between two individuals or among the people of the diverse nation of Qatar.
Qatar Museums contributed to the implementation of this artwork in support of the efforts of the Shafallah Center to celebrate its silver jubilee.
