The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Ambassadors Center, is organizing an awareness workshop for children on their fundamental rights in line with Islamic values and principles, on 22 and 24 September 2026.

The workshop aims to introduce children to their rights in a simple, age-appropriate manner suited to their level of understanding, and to strengthen their ability to distinguish between rights and responsibilities. It also seeks to instill the values of respect, responsibility and cooperation, and to encourage positive engagement with family and society.

The workshop covers a range of children's fundamental rights, with a focus on providing a safe and supportive family and social environment that allows children to express themselves and fosters a sense of belonging, confidence and responsibility. It also includes awareness activities that help children relate what they learn to everyday situations and translate these concepts into positive practices and behaviors.

The workshop is part of the Family Development Department's efforts to raise awareness of children's rights and support healthy upbringing. These efforts contribute to building a generation that is aware of its rights and duties, committed to Islamic and societal values, and able to participate positively in family and community life.
