وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية والأسرة تنظم «رحلة إلى النور» بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للعصا البيضاء

تزامناً مع الاحتفاء باليوم العالمي للعصا البيضاء، الذي يصادف 15 أكتوبر من كل عام، تنظم وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية والأسرة، ممثلة بإدارة الرعاية المجتمعية وبالتعاون مع مركز النور للمكفوفين، رحلة طلابية توعوية بعنوان «رحلة إلى النور» يوم 8 أكتوبر 2026 في جزيرة جيوان، بمشاركة 50 طالباً من المرحلة الإعدادية يمثلون خمس مدارس حكومية، بواقع 10 طلاب من كل مدرسة

وتهدف المبادرة إلى تعزيز وعي الطلبة بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة البصرية، والتعريف بأهمية العصا البيضاء بوصفها وسيلة أساسية للتنقل الآمن ورمزاً للاستقلالية والاعتماد على الذات، بما يسهم في ترسيخ قيم التقبل والاحترام والدمج المجتمعي، وتنمية المسؤولية المجتمعية لدى الطلبة وتعزيز تعاملهم الإيجابي والواعي مع الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة البصرية.

ويتضمن البرنامج أنشطة وتجارب تفاعلية تحاكي بعض التحديات اليومية التي يواجهها الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة البصرية، بما يسهم في تعريف الطلبة بأساليب التعامل السليم مع مستخدمي العصا البيضاء، وتعزيز وعيهم بأهمية دعمهم والمشاركة الإيجابية في المبادرات المجتمعية الداعمة لهم.

كما سيتم تكريم مركز النور للمكفوفين تقديراً لجهوده في تأهيل وتمكين الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة البصرية وتعاونه في استضافة الرحلة، إلى جانب تقديم هدايا تذكارية للمشاركين وشهادات شكر للجهات المشاركة.

وتجسد مبادرة «رحلة إلى النور» حرص وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية والأسرة على تعزيز الوعي بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وترسيخ قيم الدمج والمسؤولية المجتمعية، بما يسهم في بناء مجتمع أكثر شمولاً وتقبلاً وتكافؤاً في الفرص.
