Fourth Gulf Family Policy

The Fourth Gulf Family Policy Forum was organized on August 28 and 29, within the framework of cooperation and coordination between the Doha International Family Institute and the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The forum is being held this year in its fourth consecutive edition in Doha, Qatar. The general objective of the forum is to discuss the sustainability of family institutions in the GCC countries and the challenges that have arisen in the family structure.

These events will be held under the patronage of Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, coinciding with World Social Responsibility Day, and aim to motivate the government and private sectors and non-profit sector organizations in the State of Qatar to interact positively with responsible practices in business environments in support of the efforts to develop communities and their institutions.
International Day of Persons with Disabilities

International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on December 3 every year. It is a global day dedicated by the United Nations since 1992 to support people with disabilities. This day aims to increase understanding of disability issues and support designs that are friendly to all in order to ensure the rights of people with disabilities. This day also calls for increasing awareness in the inclusion of people with disabilities in political, economic and cultural life.
